We had a pleasant dining experience at Frying Fish Bellevue. The Guo Bao Rou was a standout — perfectly crispy with a delightful balance of sweet and tangy flavors. However, the spicy fish fillet in chili oil didn’t quite meet our expectations — the flavor lacked the depth we were hoping for. The cold liangpi was decent but nothing particularly memorable. That said, the customer service was excellent, and the staff were attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The restaurant environment is clean, modern, and comfortable, making it a nice place to enjoy a meal.

Unironically fish is the highlight of this restaurant! It tasted fresh and had good portions. The other spicy dishes actually turned out to be more underwhelming in comparison. Overall, good portions & authentic flavor!

sole fish with chili peppers was amazing, and the deep fried ice cream (came as little egg rolls). warm inside and a nice atmosphere with fast service. QR code on the table let’s you order continuously.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Frying Fish. The staff were very friendly and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding, every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and the amount was very generous. I especially loved Feiteng Swai Fillets and Fried Pork in Scoop, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned! Service was prompt without feeling rushed, and the overall pacing of the meal was just right. Frying fish gets everything right. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending it to friends and family!

All the dishes we ordered were so tasty! We had the eggplant, tofu, pork ribs, and fish with pickled vegetables. Every dish was full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Great service and cozy atmosphere too. Definitely coming back!

Frying Fish is a solid Chinese restaurant with good food overall, though it didn’t quite blow us away. The dishes we tried were enjoyable, but we felt the spiciness and overall flavor could have been pushed a bit more to really stand out. Overall, it was a pretty good experience, just not quite top-tier for us.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in greater seattle area. Loved the pork feet, frying fish, house special fried rice. Will come again and again !
